LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize 2025

Head of Art Direction: Bob Eaton, Sarah Basset The 2025 edition of the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize took place in Madrid.

The creative intent was to reveal the richness and complexity of each finalist’s work: the multitude of materials, the hundreds of components, and the countless hours of craftsmanship embodied in every piece.

This approach was inspired by Peter Greenaway’s cinematic use of numbers and systems to structure visual narratives.

The main shoot, captured by Estelle Hanania, presents the artworks almost as actors on a stage, both in film and still imagery.

The result is a visual journey through Madrid, leading the viewer to discover the artworks as they gather for the exhibition.
