The “Avalon” series consists of 3 sculptural vases, made of White Arabescato Marble or mixed-colored marble.

How soft the stone can be? The idea was to create vases with a strong aesthetic impact, researching the use of marble in the ancient Roman churches as well as the virtuosity of the textiles and in the anatomical shapes of the classical sculptures.

Far from the usual contemporary approach of perfection and geometrical cleaning, the “Avalon” vases present curve and complex shapes, with a formal ambiguity that needs the ability of a sculptor to get as a result vases where the veining and chromatic variations, typical of the stones applied, moves and spreads out.

in 2020 two new limited editions in white onyx and arabescato marble have been added to the collection accompanied by a small publication with a text by Matylda Krzykowski
